Tags Report broken in new year

I downloaded the Tags Report and used it for 2024 transactions. Love it. However, it is not picking up amounts for new tags created in 2025. When I edit the “custome data range” so it ends at 12/31/25 (changing from 12/31/24), it then only picks up the tags created in 2025, even though the start date for that filter is still 1/1/24. What do I need to do to add new tags in 2025 and have the report reflect both years?

Hi @JD3 to clarify you’re seeing two issues?;

  • values not showing up for 2025 tags
  • and when end date in range is any 2025 date 2024 data doesn’t show?

Thanks very much for your reply. Yes, on both your questions. I’ve attached a couple screen shots, which have different end dates entered in Custome Dates Range. The tags and are the “new” tags added this year.

The new tags are tax2025 and roadtrip

Hi @JD3 I cannot reproduce this, I added a new tag for a 2025 transaction with no issue. Have you tried re-installing the sheet?

I will do that. In the meantime, one more screenshot, with the error reference detailed in A9. Does that help with root cause?

In your screenshot, it looks like rows 19 and 20 contain orphaned data, which is causing the #REF! error. Try deleting the data in rows 19 and 20.

Thanks for your reply. When I deleted those two rows, all the tags in the rows above disappeared as well!

So I downloaded a fresh version of the Tags Report sheet, as Twalane suggested, and that seems to have fixed it for now.
