Plan is to disconnect from Yodlee and start using .csv-only downloads, and wish to test this on a dev tiller budget spreadsheet, by using the “Automatically import bank CSVs into Tiller” procedure and tool. Both regular live spreadsheet and the dev will be updated in parallel for comparison testing.
Would someone clarify how I can do this and isolate the .csv imports to the dev sheet?
In the Tiller console, you can create a new spreadsheet and configure it however you like. Then you can compare the two without one being affected by the other.

on the mytiller.com site, the .csv download selects the account to update - it does not specify which google sheet will be updated. I made a DEV copy of the spreadsheet and it’s linked as well as the live spreadsheet. So I do not know which or if both spreadsheets with that account will be updated.
Right you are. Just looking at the importer again, it “imports the transactions directly into Tiller’s database for a Tiller managed account”, and the accounts exist outside of the spreadsheets. You can enable/disable which accounts are linked to each spreadsheet. I wonder if you can first create a Manual Account, and then choose that to get the CSV transactions. The documentation does show manual accounts in the list you can choose from. If that works, your dev spreadsheet can have the automatic account disabled, and the csv one enabled, and vice-versa for the production spreadsheet.

That might just work. I’ll give it a try an respond back…in a day or so.
